Introducing CarnivalPics - A social networking site

CarnivalPics is a social networking site that is about you, your friends, carnivals and the aesthetic colourful carnival events pictures taken by people. CarnivalPics is not limited to carnivals and sharing of pictures, it has all the features of social networking site like making friends, Chat, Group pages, project collaborations, getting to know places, etc.

CarnivalPics was founded by Sunday A. James in 2014 after visiting the year 2013 edition of Calabar Carnival, he discovered that after all the parades had been done and that edition finally ended he had taken 826 events' snapshots which he considered would be great if there could be a social site dedicated to festivals and carnivals to share them.

The design of CarnivalPics began on the 02 of January 2014 and was launched and made live on
August 01, 2014 with less functions and features. The redesign was done in February 2015.

The name CarnivalPics is  from "carnival" and "pictures". "Pictures" is shortened to "pics", with the combinations of both the "carnival" and "pics" emerges "CarnivalPics".
